The DEEPWATER-CE project's final conference was held online on 31st March, 2022. Almost 70 people from different countries attended the conference! Thank you for being able to share the results of our work with you.
For all of you who did not have the opportunity to participate in the meeting, please have a look at our Final Project Brochure, where you will also find out about the results of our work.

The four pilot areas in Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Croatia were exciting pilot sites where MAR methods can be developed to improve and increase groundwater resources. If you want to know more about the pilot sites, please visit the "MAIN RESULTS" section. Hungary (D.T3.3.1) Poland (D.T3.4.1), Slovakia (D.T3.5.1) and Croatia (D.T3.6.1).

We are pleased to present the climate exposure maps created by the Lead Partner (Hungary), uploaded on the IGRAC's GGIS platform.
As part of the work on WP T3, a set of maps for the four partner countries (HU, HR, SK, PL) was created.
All 8 scenarios for 4 partner countries can be viewed and analyzed in the DEEPWATER-CE project Map Viewer available at:

We developed common methodological guidance for DEEPWATER-CE MAR pilot feasibility studies, WPT 3 - deliverable D.T3.2.5.
The guidance includes three main components:
(1) guidelines for water demand and supply determination (D.T3.2.1),
(2) guidelines for technical solutions to characterize a pilot site (D.T3.2.2),
(3) guidelines for Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) of the MAR scheme (D.T3.2.3).

We present our handbook concerning a transnational decision-support toolbox for designating potential MAR locations in
Central Europe. It includes three major components: climatological
selection criteria, geological and hydrogeological selection
criteria and a sensitivity analysis. We encourage to read it in Publications section!
