Project Coordination Meeting of the DEEPWATER-CE!
We are after the first Project Coordination Meeting of the DEEPWATER-CE!
The meeting took place on 20-21 November 2019 in Katowice, Poland. It was organized by the University of Silesia in Katowice in cooperation with the project Lead Partner.
Over 30 project representatives from 5 different countries: Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, took part in discussions about prepared activities and reports, summarized the first period of project also they began subsequent activities by discussing the plan for the next period.
We have discussed about results and ongoing activities connected with the development of a transnational knowledge base on the applicability of MAR in CE (reports, trainings, webinars), the development of a transnational assessment methodology for decision-making on MAR location in CE (hydrogeological conditions, climatic models, sensitivity analysis of extreme situations), communication issues and also about actual tasks of project management.
The meeting was preceded by a PRESS CONFERENCE
During the press conference the following persons spoke:

2. dr Sławomir Sitek (DEEPWATER -CE, Polish project coordinator; University of Silesia in Katowice)
3. Elisabeth Magyar (project leader; Mining and Geological Survey of Hungary)
