Despite the INNO-WISEs project have been largely impacted by the COVID crisis, the partners successfully adapt their activities to deliver the project on time. Overall, the project reaches its goal to create a knowledge management framework, a flexible digital communication platform as well as training programmes to help WISEs - work integration social enterprises – to face their skills shortages especially in the area of digital and managerial skills.
To improve the technological, technical, ICT and managerial skills and competences of WISEs and to reduce the technological gap currently affecting WISEs, the project launched its online platform, which proposes more than
240 tools, translated into 7 languages and hosting the training materials and the MOOC. This platform has been widely tested and improved during the last 6 project months.
During the INNO-WISEs project 5 action plans have been adopted by Public Authorities declaring their intention to adopt the project strategies to promote the innovation and the contribution of social entrepreneurship in their policies and activities. Furthermore, the project platform and MOOC are still online and will be further developed. The end of INNO-WISEs marks the beginning of WISEs transition!

5 Pilot Actions have been developed during the whole project: 2 in Italy, 1 in Slovenia, Croatia and Poland. The first aim of the pilot actions was to test the ‘wisebusiness.eu’ platform innovation in term of content and operability and to reach a tool respondent to the WISEs needs; at the same time, the pilot action tested an innovative approach to the trainings, with a mixed path made by in presence lessons and digital course, like the MOOC. The pilot actions showed that the platform is not innovative by itself but it brings a great innovation in the approach to the digitalization for WISEs, also as it suggests to use digital tolls for trainings and management. And it is large true for countries like Croatia or Poland, were the history of WISEs and social enterprises is more recent and where the entrepreneurial spirit has yet to be improved in most of the cases. The pilot actions were also important because they demonstrate the applicability of innovative technologies to WISEs sector.
