Coping with Covid-19

In order to curtail the spread of the Covid -19 virus, many EU countries had imposed movement restrictions or complete lock-down measures upon its citizens while the economical impact of the pandamic were unfolding. But what did and does this mean for the refugee populations located in these spaces?

On this page the SiforREF project partners devote information, stories and beste practices about how the refugee populations and various organisations in their cities found and are finding solutions to deal with the pandemic.

Current state of migrant women in Slovenia

ZRC SAZU conducted two focus groups on the situation of migrant women in Slovenia during Covid-19. One with 6 migrant women (5 with refugee status and one was accompanying husband who acquired a work visa) and one with four NGOs which are offering various sorts of support to migrant women in different slovenian cities.

SIPROIMI project 

During the period of a national health emergency due to Covid19, the operators of the transversal training and work services addressed the beneficiaries of the SIPROIMI project (Protection system for refugees and for unaccompanied foreign minors) in Bologna Metropolitan Area  and continued to operate.
