Second transnational training on the web gis tool
The web gis tool has been presented in Venice last 9 November
The 2nd GreenerSites Transnational training was held on 9 November, 2017 in Venice. The training focused on the presentation to the partners and stakeholders of the web gis tool developed within the project for sharing data on brownfields among public authorities and stakeholders.
The web gis tool was shown in detail by its developers; then, a practical session took place in the afternoon, in order to let participants, partners and stakeholders become more familiar with its use.
Furthermore, in the morning session, Lisa Pizzol (Surf Italy - Sustainable Remediation Forum) introduced the social perspectives in sustainable remediation of brownfield and Sabine Rabl-Berger (Austrian Environment Agency) explained the case of social regeneration of brownfields carried out in Vienna, in the former North Railway Station.
