Mobility in the Czech-Austrian cross-border region
On 7th November 2018 JIKORD participated in the international conference "Mobility in the Czech-Austrian Cross-border Region, organized by the South Bohemian Region.
The aim of the conference was to present the possibility of using European funds for mobility between the Czech Republic and Austria - transport structures, cross-border public transport connections, and the presentation of transport projects that were not co-financed by the EU.
The conference participants included regional representatives, SŽDC, Transport Coordinator of Lower Austria - VOR, Road and Motorway Directorate, and České Budějovice Airport.
JIKORD presented the possibilities of using the transport model and experience with the operation of the pilot bus line.
Participation at the conference was beneficial, because the problems of public transport and mutual cooperation on the Czech-Austrian border contributed to long-term sustainable development.
