RAINMAN was presented at workshop of the ICPO
On 2 and 3 April, the International Commission for the Protection of the Oder against Pollution (ICPO) organized a workshop of its G2 Working Group “Flood”. During the workshop RAINMAN Partner VUV presented the RAINMAN project. Representatives from Germany, Czech Republic and Poland attended the meeting.
Two RAINMAN project partners, VUV( T. G. Masaryk Water research institute, p.r.i. - Czech Republic) and IMGW (Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - National Research Institute), participated in the meeting. Both project partners prepared various information about the project and the pilot activities.
During the meeting Pavel Balvin from VUV gave a presentation on the main objectives, intermediate results and the current status of the RAINMAN project. Afterwards questions of the participants regarding the RAINMAN project were discussed. Especially, the catalogue of measures, the role of the pilot actions and the toolbox aroused the interest of the participants.
The project met with great interest among the water managers.
