Workshop for the definition of the Management Plan for the Benčić complex

On the 15th of September 2021 professionals and citizens of Rijeka city have participated in a workshop for the definition of the future Management Plan for the Benčić complex. Currently buildings in the Rikard Benčić factory complex are being transformed to provide bigger and more suitable accommodation for the City Museum of Rijeka, the Rijeka City Library, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Children’s House – the first such building in Croatia, dedicated to the development of creativity in children. The ForHeritage project is the perfect opportunity to provide a proper management and financing scheme for the future functioning of this complex.
During the workshop, participants have discussed on the following issues related to the future management of the Benčić complex:
- Physical management
- Programme management
- Financial management
- Marketing
The final version of the Management Plan is expected to be ready in October 2021.
