Meeting with FINCH project

Exchanging and sharing experience on financing cultural heritage

On the 25th of March 2020 project partners of the ForHeritage project organised an online meeting with Piedmont Region, lead partner of the FINCH project implemented under Interreg Europe programme. FINCH project is focused on the improvement of public policies that enables the use of financial instruments to leverage the participation of private actors in the cultural heritage sector. During the meeting, Anna Maria Caputano and Marisol Errico from Piedmont Region presented the project highlights, good practices and lessons learned. We have discussed on the importance of private funding in the cultural heritage sector, that goes far beyond the financial aspects. In many cases private financing constitutes only a small part of the financing of cultural sites, but it contributes to the participatory management and it fosters an enhanced sense of ownership.
