We invite you to read a research article „Financial Sustainability of Cultural Heritage: A Review of Crowdfunding in Europe“ in the Journal of Risk and Financial Management. The article has been published by Daniela Angelina Jelinčić and Marta Sveb from the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), project partner of ForHeritage.
This article analyze new trends and suitability of crowdfunding for cultural heritage projects, and detect possible factors influencing its success. Results of the analysis in the reviewed European countries showed that crowdfunding is a suitable mechanism for cultural heritage projects. The success of the cultural heritage crowdfunding majorly depend on the policy framework, heritage project nature and management of the campaign itself.
