Regional stakeholder meeting

On September 30, 2019, regional stakeholders of Lombardy, operating in the higher education sector, were invited to the 1st regional stakeholder group meeting at the Milano Luiss Hub for makers and students.

The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the importance of defining the skills for industry 4.0.

For the first RSM we’ve used a Lego Serious Play Method a facilitated meeting, communication and problem-solving process in which participants are led through a series of questions, probing deeper and deeper into the subject. Each participant builds his or her own 3D Lego model in response to the facilitator’s questions using specially selected lego elements. These 3D models serve as a basis for group discussion, knowledge sharing, problem-solving and decision making. The LSP method is a technique that improves group problem-solving. By utilizing visual, auditory and kinaesthetic skills, the Method requires participants to learn to listen, and it provides all participants with a voice. The method serves as a shared language regardless of culture or position. It is also a method that requires a trained LSP facilitator.

The participants belong to important Lombard companies linked to manufacturing 4.0: TheFabLab, Junior Achievement Italy, Luiss University, FabriQ, Afol Metropolitana, In-Sprint, Consultant Agencies.
