Citycircle webinars
During the challenging months of COVID-19 imposed restrictions in travel, work and socializing, Citycirle partners continued their work.
One of the outputs of the City Circle project is to provide regional stakeholders with useful insights on what circular economy is and how cities and regions can actively contribute to foster on local the transition towards a more circular economy by implementing circular economy hubs.
To do this a series of materials were prepared and delivered through webinars, which were attended by representatives of the project partners as well as regionals stakeholders.
The materials covered the following aspects:
- How Cities around Europe cope with transition to circular economy and what they have done (good practice cases).
- What is a web-based market place for circular economy (examples).
- How to setup circular economy hubs, with examples from Maribor (Slovenia), Kemi (Finland) and Flanders (Belgium)
Those webinars helped the project partners and their stakeholders to develop their local circular economy strategy and design the circular economy hubs to be implemented in each region.
