Pilot Actions & Territories
ARRIVAL REGIONS promotes social innovation approaches to make integration in rural areas a success story, enhancing skills and knowledge among stakeholders in the labour market and societal integration of non-EU nationals.
New competences for the development of further activities have been learnt in the first part of the project, together with the elaboration of a Transnational Strategy for Social Innovations for the Integration of non-EU Nationals.
The partners increased their knowledge about smart approaches across Europe for the development of rural areas, becoming familiar with the main topics of the project: social innovation, intercultural dialogue and migrants’ economy.
During this year the partnership launched 9 pilot actions that will be implemented until the end of 2021 in rural areas of Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia and Czech Republic.
The Pilot Actions represent the first output of WPT2 and are addressed to test the concerted action of all relevant local stakeholders in each territories, as defined in the project Transhational Strategy.
The involvement of local stakeholder in this phase will be essential, not only in the upstream definition of the pilot action, but also for the realization of local community events to promote integration.
Peer review visits and reports are foreseen for each of the nine pilot action, with the aim to underline the main findings, to optimise what have been realized in the territories, and to find new ways to replicate the actions in other regions. This activity will bring to the elaboration of a tool-box aimed at share and disseminate successfully piloted social innovation concepts.
