Roundtable on promoting PT in a cross-border dimension (Trieste)

A round table on the theme "Results and challenges of promoting public transport in a cross-border dimension" was held on 18 April, at the CEI headquarters in Trieste.

The roundtable discussion was focused on some of the challenges that key stakeholders in the public transport are encountering nowadays – especially in terms of diversified mobility (various travelling purposes and decentralization of destinations), competition, digital transformations, governance measures, etc. Furthermore, the speakers discussed the best practice examples, and the importance of making public transport services attractive on regional and cross-border level, but also on a local level.
