Transnational Interreg cooperation has turned 20 in central Europe!


20 years ago the first transnational Interreg programme was launched for central European regions and cities. What started with Interreg IIC CADSES has evolved into today's Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE. Since 1997 transnational cooperation has helped hundreds of great ideas come true.

We celebrated this anniversary with a major conference in Berlin on 21 and 22 September 2017. There we took a closer look at what transnational cooperation has done for central Europe and discussed the role of our programme and projects beyond 2020. We also opened a new call for proposals.

Launch of Third Call

CALL NOW OPEN WITH A THEMATIC FOCUS


The third call for project proposals was launched on 21 September and stays open until 25 January 2018. Around 60 million EUR are available for new transnational cooperation ideas. In some thematic areas the call focuses on pre-defined topics.
