“Traditional Boating in Veneto”: The winners enjoyed a well-deserved prize
Spring is finally here and the awarded classes of the Contest “Traditional Boating in Veneto: Crafts and Waterways” have already started to take advantage of their well-deserved prizes consisting of tourist experiences related to the project’s themes.
Veneto Region Tourism Department is glad to report the success of the enjoyable tour of Venice offered by the stakeholder Limosa - Slow Venice, which lead the 5L class of the High School on Tourism “G. Mazzotti” in Treviso, awarded with the 1st prize on the theme “Traditional boating for the future of youngsters and as a job opportunity for the new generations”, through an alternative and fascinating itinerary to discover the ancient Venetian crafts, a lesson on the history of yesterday’s Venice but also on sustainability and respect for the Venice of today, to be lived as informed and aware tourists.
