Technical & Steering Committee Meeting and visit at EU Sustainable Energy Week
Brussels, 19th to 20th of June 2019
During the annual flagship event EUSEW organised by the European Commission, the FIRECE project team stayed in Brussels to held the six-monthly Technical & Steering Committee Meeting. The representatives from all 10 partners met to discuss ongoing activities and further steps within FIRECE project. Furthermore, the finalization and closing of WPT1 was centre point within this project meeting. The consortium determined to organize the transnational FIRECE event within the international congress e-nova on 21th and 22th November 2019 in Pinkafeld, where main results will be summarized and presented in a separate session to the participants of the congress.
At the second day, 20th June the partnership was invited to join the Interreg CE Point at the Networking Village to promote FIRECE key-outputs to the participants. In addition, project partners were encouraged to visit the Policy Conference with sessions hosted over three venues, the European Commisson’s Charlemagne and Berlaymont buildings, and the Residence Palace. The EUSEW was a great experience for the project partners to get insight on the sustainable energy transition and future direction of Euope’s energy system.
