STRENCH Kick-off Meeting

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the STRENCH kick-off meeting was conducted online in a virtual conference room on 16 April 2020. Originally, the STRENCH partners intended to come together in Bologna, Italy, for their first meeting.

The STRENCH partners introduced themselves and their institutions to the other team members and presented previous projects which they had worked in and which will be capitalized in STRENCH. Thus, some of them already knew each other from former cooperations.

The thematic work packages (T1 & T2) and their planned outputs and related activities as well as the communication and management work packages were presented by the respective responsible partner and discussed among the entire team. The partner consortium agreed on the schedule and the project implementation adapted to the new exceptional situation in connection to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the current circumstances, the project team agreed to start working right away in order to achieve the frist project results very soon.
