SÁRVÁR MOBILITY smart phone application officially launched!

SOLEZ project pilot activity, the smart phone application, called SÁRVÁR MOBILITY was launched in the end of 2018 and available on Android and IOS systems as well.

With the downloading of the app, Sárvár FUA residents and the tourists can get all the relevant information about the novelties, sights, attractions, programs, timetables, and services of Sárvár.

Regarding the transport section, the application integrates all information of the available transport modes of Sárvár FUA (train, bus, car-renting, bike-renting, charging station, car-pooling..). Moreover, the application contains different tours in the area of Sárvár Functional Urban Area on foot, Nordic-walking and bicycle which also in favour of sustainable leisure time. The overall intention is to encourage people to use public or active transport instead of their conventional passenger cars.

This application provides multimodal traveller information to users and it is based on the Mobility as a Service conception.

Besides the popularisation of sustainable mobility, this application is aiming tourism and catering area too, because Sárvár FUA is a popular touristic destination among Hungarians and foreign guests as well. The software will show the available touristic destinations as well as available services and upcoming events held in Sárvár FUA.
