Zagreb, March 15th to 17th – The international tourism fair Place2Go takes place in Zagreb, Croatia, with the representation of CEETO Interreg project carried out by Nature Park Medvednica.
Place2Go is the largest tourism trade show in Croatia, the place where supply and demand of the travelling destination world meet. The fair was first held in 2012 and includes both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) sector, national and international exhibitors and many interesting panels and lectures.
This year´s edition was held from the 15th to the 17th of March in Zagreb, Croatia and, as previous years, Nature Park Medvednica participated at the fair among other Croatina Parks. This 3 days event was a good opportunity to present the 19 National and Nature Parks of Croatia and to raise awareness on the importance of sustainable tourism.
During the fair, Nature Park Medvednica representatives presented to the numerous visitors the natural and cultural values of the park, its touristic offer and an overview of the events agenda of the Park for this year. Furthermore, information about CEETO Interreg Central Europe project and its implementation was presented and some of the project´s promotional materials, such as the CEETO leaflets, were handed in to the fair participants.
Within this year´s fair, it worth a mention the presence of three other Interreg projects, which count with stands to present their initiatives to the public.
