NUCLEI aims to establish a transnational innovation management model in Central European regions and to create a transnational pool of knowledge that supports advanced manufacturing innovation beyond regional borders.
This will increase economic interdependencies among seven regions and encourage more effective transnational value chains in automotive, electrical industry, IT sector, robotic and mechanic automation.

Austria 11.04.2019
Biz-Up is organizing an additional Open Seminar about Retrofitting of Brown-Field-Plants. The event will take place on the 11th of April 2019. The Seminar will be done on-site at Faschang Werkzeugbau GmbH. They will have experts from Germany and Austria, who will explain different aspects of the digitalization of brown-field-plants.

Our lead partner CRIT will focus on circular Economy within their third open seminar. To understand the new industrial paradigm behind Circular Economy and its potential applications in the context of manufacturing companies, case studies by renowned speakers will be shown and theoretical background information provided.

Treviso 10.-11.04.2018
For two days, all ten project partners will come together for the fourth Steering Committee (April 10-11,2018) in Treviso near Venice.
Organized by project partner t2i, there will also be a transnational focus group with S3 managers to provide hints for new initiatives. Information on the agenda is attached.

Our project partner Czech Technical University (RCMT) organized an open seminar on ICT in manufacturing. The main topic was how information and communication technologies can contribute to increasing productivity and decreasing production costs, thus enhancing the competitiveness of companies. Linking data across the entire production chain, processing data and responding appropriately according to information gathered are the ways how to make it.

On March 28, 2018 our project partner Politechnika Wrocławska (PWR) is organizing a Tech Meet Up in collaboration with 3YOURMIND, the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Heart Warsaw. The focus will be on Industry 4.0 and new manufacturing technologies like 3D Printing. Some renowned speakers, e.g. from GE Aviation and VSHAPER, have been invited to share their experience and knowledge regarding the trends in Industry 4.0.
