KETGATE AT LIFE SCIENCE OPEN SPACE CONFERENCE 2019
Life Science Open Space is based on four pillars: life (or solutions to improve health and quality of life), science (or interdisciplinary scientific meetings to establish cooperation), open (or open to many different interest groups and create conditions for them to cooperate) and space (or inspiring atmosphere and interesting program, which creates a space for opportunities for development cooperation).
The whole event started on Tuesday at 8.30 a.m. with the registration of participants. Punctually at 9.00 am Kazimierz Murzyn, managing director of LifeScience Krakow Cluster, the main organizer of the Forum, opened the LSOS. At 9.30 a.m. the participants of the event had a chance to listen to the presentation of Prof. Peter Sloot, a world-renowned expert on complex simulation systems.
The next hours were marked by various, but always exciting thematic sessions. Each session included presentations on the possibilities of cooperation in projects, undertakings and other interdisciplinary activities related to areas falling within the thematic scope of the Forum. There were networking and 1:1 meetings, which were arranged in the partnering system from now on.
The event ended with evening Inspirations. Then the sessions was summed up and was a meeting with inspirers - that is, people tell the stage how they do extraordinary things and what is their definition of success. An interesting point was a session presenting dance and music as therapy. There was be an Argentine tango show and those interested were able to take part in a lesson in this South American dance. The culmination of the Forum was the afterparty, ideally suited to strengthen the ties established during the all-day event.
