SHORT DESCRIPTION
In pilot project PA4, we will focus on waste heat recovery using heat pumps and building simple model, which can predict basic technical-thermal and economical parameters of waste-heat recovery system using methodology developed within the CE-HEAT project. A pilot project will concentrate on waste-heat recovery system application in hydro power plants, where we will justify the exploitation of WH source for HPP plants as a low temperature waste heat source – on the pilot of historic, 100 years old HPP Fala Museum. In addition to testing the waste heat calculator and preliminary version of decision support system we will be preparing project documentation – detailed design for the reconstruction of the heating for Museum, where the technical solution will be developed and be situated as a model for WH use optimization in HPP’s of CEE.
Regarding our task, we have completed “Optimal business model for waste heat recovery from hydropower plant” report and also completed “Detailed Design for reconstruction of HPP Fala Museum part”.
