Exchange of knowledge in technology service provision between JSI and IFIN
Between 7th and 10th May 2019 the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) hosted a delegation from the Center for Technology Transfer and Marketing of the Romanian Horia Hulubei National Institute for R&D in Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH).
During the study visit guests learned about the operational areas and approaches of the Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation at the JSI – helping provide research services to industry, protection and marketing of intellectual property, support in connecting researchers with industry, support in creating spin out companies, as well as project work and promotional activities.
The KETGATE project was presented to the guests. They expressed interest in becoming part of the project once the network grows and includes RTOs in the neighbouring regions of Central Europe.
The Romanian delegation visited selected research departments at the JSI where they learned about the research work of the Institute. Afterwards they also visited the Technology Park Ljubljana.
Through the exchange of knowledge and experience during the visit we laid the foundations for further cooperation between the institutes.
