Opportunities for sustainable mobility in Pomurje region

Slovenian partner Development agency Sinergija organized conference with the title “OPPORTUNITIES for sustainable mobility in Pomurje”, which was held on 18. April 2018 in Murska Sobota (Slovenia).
Conference start with the introductory speech of the director of the Development agency Sinergija and mayor of the Municipality of Ljutomer, which is also project partner and is the first small municipality in Slovenia with the Workplace Mobility Plan.
Attendees of the conference were from different public institutions.
The focus of the conference was: sustainable commuting, connections of the functional urban areas, preparation of the workplace mobility plan and how to create the public transport more efficient on rural areas. Speakers presented the attendees also best practices from the local area, how start with the soft measures on sustainable mobility.
