As a 100% subsidiary of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, AustriaTech supports the active shaping of innovation and transformation processes in the mobility sector, advices on the implementation of national and European regulations and promotes exchange and joint learning between the stakeholders involved at national and international level. 

For almost 15 years, AustriaTech as a public enterprise, has been pursuing the goal of placing people at the centre of new mobility solutions and helping to implement technological developments in a beneficial manner. Because, digitalisation, automation and decarbonisation as main transformation processes not only have an impact on our mobility behaviour, they are also changing our model of society.

As a consulting agency and interface between politics, industry and research, we identify options for action to make traffic and transport more sustainable, efficient and safe.
