Save the Date ++ Workshop to Exchange experience on multimodal transport of chemical goods
on 2nd November 2017 in Schkopau (DE)
Chemical companies, logistics service providers and intermodal transport terminals will come together on 2nd November 2017 in Schkopau to discuss opportunities and challenges of multimodal transport. The workshop takes place against the background of the German national government's’ Master plan for rail freight transport that announced a significant decrease infrastructure access charges for rail operators, helping to increase the competitivity of combined transport.

The workshop is organised by the German partners of the ChemMultimodal project in close cooperation with the association of the chemical industry VCI Northeast. SAVE THE DATE Workshop zum Erfahrungsaustausch über Multimodale Transporte von Chemiegütern am 2.11.17 in Schkopau
Am 2. November 2017 treffen sich Chemieunternehmen, Logistikdienstleister und KV-Terminals aus Mitteldeutschland in Schkopau, um über Chancen und Herausforderungen des multimodalen Verkehrs zu diskutieren. Mit dem Masterplan Schienengüterverkehr hat die Bundesregierung eine deutliche Senkung der Trassenpreise angekündigt. Damit wird die preisliche Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des kombinierten Verkehrs verbessert. Der Workshop wird vom europäischen Kooperationsprojekt ChemMultimodal in Kooperation mit dem VCI Nordost organisiert.
