Kranj goes one step further
At ceremonial event at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the Mayor of municipality Kranj Matjaž Rakovec received a tap water certificate and signed a commitment that the Municipality will offer drinking tap water in business activities and events.
This gesture will also encourage employees of Municipality of Kranj, partners, subcontractors and other stakeholders to drink tap water, thus raising awareness that Slovenia has healthy and high-quality drinking water and that drinking tap water is healthier and more environmentally friendly than using pre-packaged water.
The Municipality will serve drinking tap water in glass jugs and glasses and will avoid offering pre-packaged water whenever possible.
