BIOCOMPACK MEETS ZEROWASTEEUROPE

The Zero Waste International Alliance has been established to promote positive alternatives to landfill and incineration and to raise community awareness of the social and economic benefits to be gained when waste is regarded as a resource base upon which can be built both employment and business opportunity.

Since 2011, European Zero Waste groups have been collaborating on a voluntary basis organising events, and building off of the work done by the European members of the GAIA network.

Biocompack tries to help in finding solutions for waste collection and recycling: Zero Waste Europe meeting was a good chance to present the project to a large number of stakeholders coming from different countries all over Europe, with different waste management situations but with a common goal: eliminate trash.
