Center Rotunda: Local Kick-off Workshop
The 17th November 2019 Center Rotunda organized the local kick-off workshop in its headquarters: there were 12 stakeholders, representatives of Piran elementary schools, social services, social work center, Koper People's University, representatives of municipality, NGO-s and one representative of Albanian - Kosovo community. At this workshop, the partner found out that there are quite a few project activities in the field of migration policy in progress in Koper area. During the discussion, the necessity to focus the pilot action to the Municipality of Piran is arised.
In fact there is a need for more activities, especially for children and mothers of Albanian ethnicity, as well as migrant groups from the former Yugoslav republics and other non EU citizens.
The partner agreed to invite stakeholders who are primarily interested in meeting at a joint meeting and analyzing the situation in the municipality of Piran. The Koper Law Center will coordinate discussions between representatives of Piran elementary schools, social services, social work center, Koper People's University, and representatives of municipal and other services directly or indirectly involved in the issue of migrants.
Within this group, the local alliance will be signed, like a social partnership that will provide solutions to the problems they face virtually every day.
