eCentral: Launch Conference

Launch Conference and Local Peer Review Workshop
This Thursday, on 1st February 2018, the Municipality of 18th District of Budapest together with Energiaklub is hosting the launch conference of the district’s pilot action within eCentral project.
The launch conference will take place at Benczúr House in downtown Budapest and will cover topics such as the nZEB regulatory background, best practices, and the introduction of the municipality’s pilot action site. The presentations will be followed by a press conference and the project partners will gather again in the afternoon at PiK, one of the community houses within the district to discuss the feasibility study of the planned pilot action before visiting the site, Vackor kindergarten. The renovation works of the kindergarten’s building with a total area of 700 m2, constructed in the late 1970s, are planned to finish during project implementation and the financing scheme to be applied for this pilot action will be the ESCO model, using energy performance contracting (EPC).
