SOLEZ AT 9th CONFERENCE ON TRANSPORT SCIENCES IN GYOR

Between 21st-22nd March an international conference on Transport Sciences was held in Győr. During the conference several interesting topics were discussed in connection with sustainable transport area.

On the second day of the conference PBN had a section where the mobility expert of the association presented the results of PBN’s two running sustainable mobility related EU-funded projects, namely SOLEZ in Interreg Central and CHESTNUT in Interreg Danube.

 In the first part of the presentation PBN’s mobility expert presented the the methodology of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Sárvár FUA preparation drafted in the framework of CHESTNUT project, whereas in the second part of the presentation the results of SOLEZ project were highlighted, especially the Pilot Action implementation procedure of Sárvár FUA. The expert mentioned the  functions (such as multimodal traveller information, touristic and services information of Sárvár FUA) of the MaaS based SÁRVÁR MOBILITY application, and emphasised that the overall objective of the application is to encourage people to use public or active transport instead of their conventional passenger cars.
