Days of energy and ecology in Slovakia – Žilina

A big social event for supporting sustainable development, and involving a wide range of citizenship of any age, took place in Žilina and hosted a SOLEZ Targeted event. 

The event promoted many activities focused on sustainable mobility, such as promoting the electromobility as an alternative possibility against to diesel cars or other kinds of alternative transport such as public transport and cycling. Green technologies and sustainable urban mobility were the main topics. Visitors tried  to ride e-bikes as an anticipation of the e-bike sharing system that will be implemented soon in Žilina and children had dedicated educational games to learn about urban sustainable means of transport, green energy and environment in their city.
