Roundtables with regional policy
and relevant stakeholders - Steinbeis Europa Zentrum

The KETGATE project manager of SEZ Jennifer Bilbao and Alejandra Campos moderated and carried out a presentation for the participants. After a short introduction, the project goals and working mode were presented. The videos explaining the KETGATE network and a success story video were also shown to the participants.

Afterwards, the possible collaboration between KETGATE and the ministry was discussed. Regarding funding possibilities some suggestions were: RTO membership (for example membership fee, success fee), through projects such as EEN, through brokerage events, among others.

The ministry informed us that in Baden-Württemberg the SMEs have already the possibility to obtain innovation vouchers of 5.000 € that can be also used for transnational projects. Other financing opportunities besides this are difficult in the short term according to them because the budget until 2021 is already given.

During the workshop there was a very productive discussion with the Ministry of Economy. They were very interested in the activities of KETGATE and are willing to continue in touch for possible further collaboration.
