CyFyAfrica Conference

Karsten Wenzlaff represented the CrowdFundPort project at the Conference "CyFyAfrica", which was hosted by the Indian Thinktank "Observer Research Foundation" on June 7th to June 9th in Tangier, Morocco. The conference was held under the Patronage of the Moroccan King Mohamed VI and was aimed to discuss the impact of digital trends on the economies and societies in Africa and Asia. Karsten Wenzlaff was joined on the Panel by Arun Sharma, Member of the Cabinet Secretary of the Prime-Minister of India, and Lucy Corkin, Business Strategies at the RAND Merchant Bank in South Africa. The panel was moderated by Mehul Patel, Serial Investor, Innovator and Blockchain Expert. The discussion focused on the link between Banks and Fintechs, the regulation of Fintechs and recent developments in Microfinance.
